Our goal is to help your company develop an effective, informational, attractive, cost-efficient web presence that is usable by your customers. You get a unique website that exemplifies your business and your style. You won’t pay for features that you don’t need or want — and your customers may not appreciate.
Custom websites are just that, custom. After an initial complimentary consultation, where we determine your website needs, we’ll develop a quote just for your situation and budget. The cost of a website depends on the design, features, type of content and quantity of content, and if you have an existing website, moving information to the new site.
We’ve listed some price ranges below. The ranges cover everything from a very basic, one page website with contact information to migrating a large website with hundreds of blog articles and products to a new ecommerce system.
A website is not a one-time purchase. Much like a car, you have an initial investment, but you also have regular maintenance and possibly upgrades or new features.
A website can range in price from a few hundred dollars for one page with contact information to tens of thousands if you have a lot of data and features. Ecommmerce, products with options, videos, complicated forms, membership, reporting, custom functions can all add quite a bit to the cost of a website. Setting up social media and integrating with your website can also add to the cost. We design all our websites from the ground up to be friendly to search engines.
Often, part of your initial investment will be the cost of software. This software usually has to be renewed annually.
Website hosting, backup, minor security updates are billed monthly and depending on the speed and power of hosting required can range from $10 to hundreds per month. Keep in mind that hosting from discount hosting companies often doesn’t provide complete backup and restoration abilities and doesn’t include security updates.
Your website will need to pay for your domain name (mycompany.com), and other hosting add-ons (SSL & dedicated IP) on an annual basis. Also, much of the software that was purchased during your initial investment will need to be renewed annually.
Due to developing technology, both from a feature standpoint and a security standpoint, you should plan on a major website overhaul every 2 – 3 years. Just as you have to upgrade your computer operating system with a major update every few years, your website will need the same.
