Claire Yar was born and raised in the UK and is proud to still have her accent (“people love that” she tells us). She came to the US in 1994, serving as an au pair before getting married and making the US her permanent residence.

Prior to 1994, Claire earned an accounting degree in the UK, worked for 5 years managing fixed assets and bank reconciliations for a large trailer manufacturer (“HUGELY boring”, she tells), and after 1995 worked in Wall Street for what was Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) as an Investment Administrator settling million dollar trades (“STRESSFUL”- we believe it, Claire).

Claire then worked as a Senior Trainer for Chase Bank, and then as a Technical Training Manager for United Healthcare. Since then, Claire designed computer databases for small businesses and created and taught computer training classes for Chandler Parks and Recreation Division until she came to work for Focus Web Technologies in early 2008… the rest is history and Bob’s your uncle!
